Operations Representative
Western State Bank is seeking an Operations Representative for our Garden City banking center.
Description:
This position is responsible for completing the daily workflow within the operations area accurately and within established timeframes. This position performs a variety of transaction processing, electronic banking, account maintenance, research, operational support activities while maintaining an understanding of how processes support the Bank's overall daily operations.
Job Duties:
Duties include but are not limited to the following: processing daily transactions and electronic files including wires, ACH transactions and returns, ATM files, online banking files, overdraft files, and other electronic transactions; responding to walk-in or phone inquiries and providing appropriate assistance or direction to employees and/or customers; performing account and transaction research to identify and resolve discrepancies; and additional requirements as stated in full job description.
Skills & Requirements:
Must have strong attention to detail; ability to prioritize and multitask within established deadlines; strong research, problem solving and analytical skills; and effective verbal and written communication skills. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent education or experience. Must also be able to pass a background check. Previous experience in banking, financial services, operations or transaction processing experience is preferred but not required. May require occasional travel to banking centers outside of Garden City.
