WSB Kicks Off High School Football Social Media Contest for Buffs and Demons Fans

Western State Bank is excited to launch a social media contest that celebrates school spirit and gives fans a chance to win cash.

Throughout the 2025 football season, fans can post photos to Facebook or Instagram while at Garden City High School or Dodge City High School football games. At the end of the season, one lucky fan from Garden City and one lucky fan from Dodge City will each win $500 cash.
Plus, the team with the highest number of fan entries scores $500 for their school!

Here’s how it works:

  1. Take a selfie or group photo wearing your Buffs or Demons apparel while at any Garden City or Dodge City High School football game.

  2. Post your photo on your own Facebook or Instagram page (public)

  3. Tag Western State Bank (@WSBKansas) and use your local hashtag:

    • #BankingOnTheBuffs for Garden City

    • #BankingOnTheDemons for Dodge City

  4. Make sure your post is set to “public” so we can see it

Basic Rules

✔️ Everyone in the photo must be wearing GCHS Buffaloes or DCHS Red Demons apparel.

✔️ You can enter once on Facebook and once on Instagram at every game all season long.

✔️ Each post counts as an entry!

At the end of the football season, we’ll randomly draw one $500 winner from each high school fanbase and announce it on Western State Bank’s Facebook and Instagram pages. Be sure to follow @WSBKansas for the announcement!

By participating, you give Western State Bank permission to use the photo(s) you post in publications, promotions, illustrations, or advertising in any manner or any medium, including social media. Full contest rules are available at wsbks.com/about/giveaway-rules.

Note: This contest is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, Meta, or any other social media platform.

Western State Bank is proud to support a meaningful fundraiser happening Saturday, Sept. 14, in Oakley — a day that blends outdoor adventure with inspiration, all in support of the Cale Evins Memorial Fund.

The fund was created to honor the life of Cale Evins, son of Colby Banking Center President J.L. Evins, and supports scholarships and youth-focused initiatives throughout Northwest Kansas. This special day reflects Cale’s legacy and his family’s shared love for the outdoors and strong community values.

Two separate events will take place that day:

A rare opportunity to enjoy a 10-station sporting clays course and optional 3-person flurry event. Open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. near the Buffalo Bill Cultural Center. (All participants must enter by 3 p.m.)

🌄An Evening with Billy Molls, the "Modern Day Mountain Man"
That evening, enjoy a catered dinner and keynote from Billy Molls — a nationally recognized Alaskan big game guide and host of the award-winning Modern Day Mountain Man YouTube series. Billy shares unforgettable wilderness stories and a powerful message of faith and resilience.

Tickets are available now. Click here to visit the ticket & registration sales site.
