Western State Bank Announces Classic Car Winner

Wrapping up a summer of 50th anniversary celebrations, we drew the name of our anniversary classic car winner: Ana Enfield of St. Francis, Kan. Enfield is now the proud owner of a 1973 Mercury Cougar Convertible. We received more than 3,500 entries, with just over 6% of entries coming from St. Francis. Congratulations to Ana!

Goodland Team Hosts Anniversary Party In The Park

Our Goodland banking center celebrated 25 years in Goodland and 50 years in business with a community "Party in the Park" event in Steever Park. The event featured live music from Shad Sheldon's "Back Atcha Band," free food and homemade ice cream for the first 500 people in attendance, and free admission to the local pool for the entire day. They also organized a scavenger hunt for a chance to win 50th anniversary merchandise, and gave all attendees the chance to enter to win Western State Bank's anniversary giveaway, a 1973 Mercury Cougar Convertible.

Western State Bank recently hid 50 piggy banks containing $50 cash vouchers across our western Kansas banking center communities. The activity was part our our 50th anniversary celebration. We placed clues on our website to aid in the hunt. Dodge City Team Hosts Community BBQ

Our Dodge City banking center played host to a BBQ-style lunchtime cookout to celebrate 15 years in Dodge City and 50 years in business. The first 250 attendees received pulled pork sandwiches and sides provided by TattQue'd BBQ. Attendees also had the chance to spin a prize wheel to win 50th anniversary merchandise, and received additional entries into Western State Bank's anniversary giveaway, a 1973 Mercury Cougar convertible.

50 Western State Bank ATM Users Received $50 Bills In Place Of $20s As Anniversary Surprise

Western State Bank recently surprised the public with randomly placed $50 bills in place of $20 bills in each of our ATMs across western Kansas. Throughout the month of June, 50 ATM users won the surprise bills. The activity was part of Western State Bank's 50th anniversary summer of events and promotions. Thank you to our customers and our communities for all of your support over the past 50 years.
